Waiting on Wednesday

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we just can't wait to get our sticky fingers on.

Title: Texas Gothic
Author: Rosemary Clement-Moore
Published: July 12, 2011
Synopsis from Goodreads

Amy Goodnight's family is far from normal. She comes from a line of witches, but tries her best to stay far outside the family business. Her summer gig? Ranch-sitting for her aunt with her wacky but beautiful sister. Only the Goodnight Ranch is even less normal than it normally is. Bodies are being discovered, a ghost is on the prowl, and everywhere she turns, the hot neighbor cowboy is in her face.

We here at Paranormal Wastelands are super mondo excited about this book. So excited that we are donning our leather chaps.

  15. I've been skipping over this book for ages. From the title I'd assumed the book was some southern YA historical and was completely uninterested. I finally read the summary a few days ago and I can't believe I was so judgmental. The book sounds freakin' awesome! Great WoW pick!

  18. I want a hot neighbor cowboy in my face. I really, really do. But, married, so I guess I will have to settle for a fictional character!

  21. I'm SO getting this one. For some reason I dislike Texas as a setting (Texan dwellers don't shoot, please!). And I have no idea why. But if means sexy cowboys, sure I'll take this book for a spin. Plus, the paranormal element intrigues me. Thanks for bringing this to attention! and thanks for stopping by the blog! (Sorry for the delayed visit.)
