Blog Hop Lovin'

It's that time of the week for a little bloggy blog lovin' with...
Book Blogger Hop
Hosted by Jen

Every week there's a new question, and it's a great way to get to meet new bloggers!

"What book-to-movie adaption have you most liked? Which have you disliked?"

For me this is tough, because well, I don't watch a WHOLE lot of TV. But here are a few movies that I liked, however I DIDN'T read any of these books.
I Am Legend
Remember Me
Charlis St. Cloud
The Notebook
Greta stop rolling your eyes at me. Its not my fault you hate the Notebook!
Hey cut it OUT!!!
*pinches Greta*
Of course I read & watched all the Twilight Saga, while I love the movies, the books are better...DUH. lolz

As for a movie that I didn't like, well that one is a bit easier. ABC Family made a 2 part movie called Fallen. Based on the series Fallen by Thomas E. Sniegoski. I feel it is my job to tell you that the books are just as horrible. Seriously those are prescious hours I will never get back. Thank goddess I finally figured out that I can say NO and put a bad book down, back then I would suffer through it. It was aweful!!!

What have we been up to this week?
~Come see what we have our our nightstands in this edition of In My Mailbox
~Greta taught us a thing or two about stiching, and bitching with Stich & Bitch: Knitters Guide
~Darkfallen broke your heart with this weeks Teaser Tuesday
~Greta captivated us at the circus in Waiting On Wedsnday
~You met a sexy wolfy in Darkfallens review of Hunting Human
~ And stop on by tomorrow! There was a zombie, a living girl, some gore, and alot of love in Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion.

Have a great weekend...

  1. I love The Notebook movie-Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams are such a great couple (plus we get to see a bit of James Marsden who is also hot). Not really a fan of the book although I've read it.

  2. Love your Blog. I'm with you on most of those movies, including Remember Me and The Notebook. You aren't missing much with the book The Notebook, the movie was way better!

Love your blog. I'm trying to follow but the button is blanked out.:-(

  4. Let’s kick off Memorial Day Weekend with some scandal and controversy.

I absolutely loved every minute of the Lord of the Rings films and felt they hit the mark when they brought Tolkien’s masterpiece to the big screen.
(ducking as rotten tomatoes are thrown at me as the torches are lit and the pitchforks raised)

Wait, wait. I can explain! Hop on over to my blog and hear me out – http://www.howardsherman.net

  6. HAHA!! I do hate the NOTEBOOK :)

My favorite movie adaptation of a book would be PARTY MONSTER. I also enjoyed ABOUT A BOY (whic is better than the book - shocking!)

and the WORST book movie adaptation EVER would be "MY SISTER'S KEEPER". I just wanted to scream when it ended oh so wrong! (I read the book before I went to go see it)

  7. I've heard great things about the books of I am Legend and Charlie St. Cloud. :) And I agree, there are so many books out there, why waste time punishing yourself by finishing a book you're not enjoying when you could move on to one you WILL enjoy? Life's too short to read not fun books, right? Thank you for visiting, and following you back! Have a nice weekend! :)
