First I just got to say: Don't you LOVE the cover?!? This series has some beautiful covers!!
Lauren Kate does not disappoint in Torment ( book 2)!
I love Luce even more now and it was nice to meet some new and interesting characters in book 2.Don't get me wrong there was a few times I wanted to shake her, but she is growing, and I loves it. I found myself so emotional attached in this book at times my heart felt like it was being strangled. Poor Luce I heart you!
The ending was awesome, and scary, and leaves me dying to read more. I love that Luce is taking matters in her own hands so to speak.See she really is growing! My only complaint is how long I have to wait for the next book. I mean seriously Cruel and Unusual punishment much?! Until then you haunt my dreams Grigori.
This book gets 5 out of 5 from me!

Buy it, rent it, borrow it, steal it if you have to, but you have to READ this book!!

I got about 100 pages into this novel and put it down. Why? Wellll, I love it, more than the first I think, but I realized that it would drive me nuts to wait for the next one, and so I've decided to put it aside for now. Plus I'm just so sad that Daniel is hardly in the book. =( And Luce seems to be swayin' another way. Which wtf, man?! Why can't YA girls stay constant?! Ya know?!

cutie I have to agree a bit this was not as good as the first. I found myself angry and wanting to slap luce most of the book for her bad choices esp when it came to how daniel was acting. That aside I liked the ending and im looking forward to torment.

ReplyDeleteAnd i get why most people like the bad boys, but i tend to fall for the good ones :) I absolutely loved miles, i think luce should ditch daniel and cam and go for him, and if not ill take him ;)
Awww Miles is a sweetie!! But for me Luce should stay with Daniel. And I should turn into Arriane....and then Cam and Arriane (me as Arriane) should get together;)
