Darkfallen's Thoughts:

Everlasting will leave an everlasting impression on you in this last installment of the Immortals series.
Cheesy…yes I know, but oh so true!
Ever and Damon are still struggling to find a way to really be together. Finding the antidote to Romans brew isn’t proving to be any easier. And then there is the little fact that the dark side of Summerland is growing…..and growing.
Then there is the crazy old lady, which seems to appear out of nowhere, chanting things that make absolutely no sense, talking in riddles, and pointing at Ever. Not only blaming her and Damon for what’s becoming of this dark side. Claiming their love is ultimately what is causing all of this, only through the truth will they find the answers they seek, and even crazier it’s Ever’s destiny to fulfill.  Ever is faced with a journey that only she can make.
Going back to the beginning, the very beginning, so that they might have a chance to be truly happy in the end.
There are so many, many good things to say about this closing chapter on The Immortals series. Most importantly it’s how Ever has grown. When we first found her in Evermore she was nothing more than a lost, broken, cheerleader type. Also to narrow minded to see the truth, and often holding truth in everything that had none. Always landing her in situations where I often found myself wanting to smack her, maybe even shake her a little. Tell her to open her eyes, see what was right in front of her, and stop acting like a baby, smacking myself because even though she drove me nuts, I still liked her, loved her even.
 But not anymore.
Our little Ever is all grown up!
Setting out on what is to be the toughest journey she has ever taken. Back to the beginning, to the very first life her soul even knew, to a life neither her nor Damen knew existed, to learn from their mistakes. To see where they all went wrong and it’s not until then can either of them make the decision to finally pay off karma’s debt, and find true happiness. Because knowing  the truth is the answer, and while Damen may think that he knows, even he learns a thing or two along the way.
The question is after everything….
Once all the cards are on the table….
Once the light has been eliminated every dark corner….
Will Ever & Damen find true happiness lies with each other?
Or part ways for good?
Well as you know….I’m NOT gonna tell ya;)
Yes I AM evil like that…deal with it!
But I will say this…
This book kept me on the edge of my seat. Making me feel like I was breaking apart inside. I was shocked to find that at times it was Damen that I wanted to shake, but OMG did my heart ever break for him. This book will make you shed tears of joy when minute, then ripe your heart out of your chest, stomp on it, make you scream out in agony, sob like you did the day you found out your first love wasn’t love at all, then….after all of that….Leave you peaceful and completely content.
Now GO run along, take this journey with me. I promise the pain throughout is worth the payoff!

Rock Hard by Olivia Cunning: Review

Rock Hard by Oliva Cunning
Pick up your copy today at
The man in your life will thank me *winks*

Synopsis borrowed from Goodreads:

Sinners’ lead singer, Sed, had his heart shredded when Jessica left him to pursue her dreams,so when she dances her way back into his life, he's not sure he's ready for her brand of pain, or pleasure, again. When she convinces Sed to engage in a benefits with benefits relationship, things seem to be going his way, until one of his fans catches their explicit public display of affection on film and posts it all over the internet. Will Jessica ever trust Sed again? And has Sed become the man of Jessica’s dreams or is he just posing to get what he wants?

Now for some nummy thoughts:

In this installment of the Sinner's series we get to live Sed's story. Which OMG is flaming out!!

Sed is the lead singing of the Sinners. He is also a pushy asshole control freak who had his heart broken by Jessica, and thusly is a womenizing man whore. These are all things we know from Backstage Pass. But what happens when Sed & Jessica get reunited in the most not-so-pleseant circumstances? Can the two of them overcome their own personality disorders long enough to see the real person underneath all the bullshit? Or will Sed be left standing there with his heart in shreds once again as they part ways....

Ok well one thing for sure is that Sed & Jessica's reunion is smoldering HOT!! I mean they have an animal like physical attraction to eachother that drives not only them but you the reader crazy. But remember when I said in Backstage Pass that not only did Ms. Cunning give me lusty num nums, but she made me fall in Love with her characters?

Welps chickadees I'm proud to say that she did it again....only this time is wasn't for the main character! Please don't get me wrong I learned so SO much about Sed, and thusly love him even more for it but....uh hu yep there is always a BUT and in this case a very hot one *giggles*

So without giving anything away, because no one likes a spoil sport, I'll tell you this. There is so much more depth coming into this series. So much more drama. Where in the first book it is mostly about Brian and Myrna, in Rock Hard Olivia does an awesome job of bringing some roundness to all of the Sinner's. And while I thought that I was madly, deeply, hopelessly, lustfully in love with Brian Sinclair well....ok so maybe I still am *swoons then shrugs* But oh Trey Mills, Trey Mills, Trey Mills!

Trey you beautiful broken sexy man! Come here let me fix you. Trust me momma knows EXACTLY what you need *waggles eyebrows*

*Greta pinches Darkfallen*

OWWWWW!!! WTH was that for??

Oh right I'm turning into a groupie aren't I? hehehe Thanx for snapping me out of it *winks*

All in all this was another hot installment of The Sinner's and I am so excited to see what is gonna happen to the band next, and OMG Ms. Olivia Cunning how long until I get Trey's story?? *whines like a 2 yr old* Pa Pa Pa please I NEED him!!
*Greta pinches Darkfallen....AGAIN*

OWWW shit I'm doing it again aren't I? CRAP!! *facepalms*I better run before my arm gets any more bruises!! LMAO

How to Flirt With a Naked Werewolf

How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf
By: Molly Harper

Goodreads Synopsis

Northern Exposure

Even in Grundy, Alaska, it’s unusual to find a naked guy with a bear trap clamped to his ankle on your porch. But when said guy turns into a wolf, recent southern transplant Mo Wenstein has no difficulty identifying the problem. Her surly neighbor Cooper Graham—who has been openly critical of Mo’s ability to adapt to life in Alaska—has trouble of his own. Werewolf trouble.

For Cooper, an Alpha in self-imposed exile from his dysfunctional pack, it’s love at first sniff when it comes to Mo. But Cooper has an even more pressing concern on his
mind. Several people around Grundy have been the victims of wolf attacks, and
since Cooper has no memory of what he gets up to while in werewolf form, he’s
worried that he might be the violent canine in question.

If a wolf cries wolf, it makes sense to listen, yet Mo is convinced that Cooper is not the culprit. Except if he’s not responsible, then who is? And when a werewolf falls
head over haunches in love with you, what are you supposed to do anyway? The
rules of dating just got a whole lot more complicated. . . .

This book was super cute.

While predictable at some points, a little rushed in others, a kinda "wait.... they're going at it right now?" at times, it was the perfect distraction for a girl that whose electricity was beat down by tornado baddys. It was the perfect fluffernutter in these dark times. (cuz I had no power and could only read in the daytime)

I can't tell you how many paranormal books make me a tad bit mad when the heroin is all butt-kicking, sword wielding, with abs on top of abs kinda girl in her early 20s.

Is she in this one?

Nope!! In this book the girly is your normal run of the mill 30 year old, short order cook, with vegan loving parents whose ready to break away from Mommy and Daddy and try to find her own life.

Ok... maybe that's not completely normal.

Mo (whose full name is revealed more in the book) has hippy-dippy parents with a big side order of meddle. Think Dharma and Greg meet Ray Barone's parents.

Yikes! right?

Always stopping by with wheat germ as they go through your bills and give lectures on how a happy colon is achieve by not hitting the drive through at Jack in the Box

(note: Greta loves Jack in the Box and that was her attempt at a prompt for Jack in the Box to love her back and give her free cheeseburgers)

To get away from the whole mess Mo decides to leave her Mississippi life in search of seclusion and a breather away from her love bead toting parents over in Alaska. Everyone in Grundy appear normal ... But what Mo doesn't realize is that there's one local in particular with a bit of a wild side who just so happens to get naked whenever things get hairy.

(cuz the local hotty always has a wild side - WOOF! )

It's a very squeeful book that will leave you snickering all the way through. I'm here to tell you that the author sure does have a way with words. My favorite phrase was "Mighty Morphin Power Penis". LOLZ! Just fab!

Also, the cover is too cute!! I mean... Just look at those feet!! Adorable!

I recommend this book to all who need a light hearted romp in the woods and want to get away from angsty angst books. This won't let you down.

A pure delight and a fast read! I can't wait to read the next one!
